About the Owner
Hey! I'm Rohit Raykar, the Head Physiotherapist and Founder of Centenarian.
My journey began studying physiotherapy at Australian Catholic University, where I was fortunate to learn from an exceptional team of educators.
During this time, I also worked in high-performance sport as a sport trainer with the GWS Giants Women's Team for three seasons, building my hands-on experience.

In my final year as a student, I gained extensive clinical experience across a range of hospital settings, including:
-
Ryde Hospital
-
St Vincent's Hospital (Cardiothoracic care)
-
Chris O'Brien Lifehouse (Oncology and post-operative rehabilitation)
-
Concord Hospital (Neurology, neurosurgery, and outpatient rehabilitation)
Following graduation, I worked at Westmead Hospital, gaining broad experience in:
-
ICU
-
Respiratory (HDU/COU)
-
Neurosurgery & trauma HDU
-
Geriatric rehab
-
Haematology/oncology
-
Outpatient musculoskeletal (Goulburn Secondment)
-
Orthopaedics

Through this experience, I saw a clear gap - many older adults struggle to access high-quality physiotherapy in a way that’s convenient and consistent.
That’s why I started providing physiotherapy in the home.
Today, I focus on helping seniors across Sydney build strength, improve mobility, and stay independent - all from the comfort of where they feel most confident:
Their own home.
